Formal Complaint Regarding Repeated Billing and Order Errors at Compass One Outlet angela_kam★ Skiplah $Oklah Food Court Eat and GoDear Cinta Hainanese Chicken Rice Management, I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the male Chinese cashier at your Compass One outlet. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. My family has encountered repeated billing and order errors whenever he serves us. The recurring problems include: * Charging us a takeaway fee even though we bring our own containers. * Preparing our orders incorrectly, such as giving us white chicken when we requested roasted chicken, or vice versa. * Mishearing our orders and then insisting that the mistake was ours. * Charging prices that are inconsistent with those charged by other staff members. I have four receipts showing four different ways of charging for the same order: chicken drumstick with noodles. 1. Chicken drumstick rice: $6.80 The rice was changed to noodles without any additional charge. Total: $6.80 2. Add drumstick: $6.00 Add noodles: $1.50 Total: $7.50 3. Add drumstick: $6.00 Change to drumstick: $2.00 Total: $8.00 This does not make sense because the $6 item was already a drumstick, yet another $2 was charged to “change to drumstick.” 4. Chicken noodle: $6.80 Change to drumstick: $2.00 Total: $8.80 The receipts show that exactly the same order—chicken drumstick with noodles—has been charged at four different prices: $6.80, $7.50, $8.00 and $8.80. This pricing is highly inconsistent and confusing. We have patronised this stall many times and have repeatedly experienced these problems with the same cashier. It has reached the point where my entire family no longer wishes to order from the stall because we cannot be confident that our orders and charges will be correct. Please investigate these repeated billing and order errors and clarify: 1. What is the correct price for chicken drumstick with noodles? 2.Why was an additional $2 “change to drumstick” fee charged when the item entered was already “Add drumstick”? I would also appreciate a refund of any overcharges shown in the attached receipts. I hope management will take this complaint seriously and provide the staff member with proper training in order-taking, billing and customer service. Thank you. I look forward to your response.
