Good news for couples planning their big day. Blush Artisan Cakes, the Muslim-owned cake boutique known for its wedding tiers, has officially been awarded MUIS halal certification. The team announced it on Instagram on 30 October and called it a milestone it had been working towards for a long time.
Founded in 2017, Blush is best known for custom wedding cakes, with buttercream designs like Classic Florals, Lace Vintage and Ruffle Vintage starting from $74.50. The team also does macaron towers and wedding favours, dessert tables, live dessert stations and on-site cake setups. Couples can book design consultations with tasting sessions, and boutique pastries are available at its studio along Jalan Pisang.
Many wedding venues ask for certified halal suppliers, so the new cert makes Blush a simpler pick for Malay weddings and corporate events alike.
