Fans of Hai Ge Ji Hainanese Chicken Rice have one last chance to visit their current outlet before the beloved Muslim-owned eatery relocates to a new home.
In a recent announcement on Instagram, the team shared that their journey at the current location is coming to an end after two memorable years of serving their signature Hainanese chicken rice to customers.
But there's good news. Hai Ge Ji is not closing. Instead, they will be moving across the street to their new premises at 69 & 70 Bussorah Street.
The team thanked customers for their support over the past two years and promised that this is only a "see you later" rather than a goodbye. While preparations are underway for the new outlet, they will also be hosting surprise pop-up events, so fans should keep an eye on their social media channels for updates.
The final day of operations at the current location will be 7 June 2026, giving customers one last opportunity to enjoy their favourite chicken rice dishes before the move.
Known for its flavourful chicken rice and Muslim-owned status, Hai Ge Ji has become a popular dining destination in the Kampong Gelam area for both locals and tourists seeking authentic Hainanese-style chicken rice.
Halal Tag wishes the Hai Ge Ji team all the best in their new chapter and looks forward to visiting their new home at Bussorah Street soon.
